Julie joined the Company originally as an office junior in 1987, when it was operating as Flexequip. In 1996, Julie progressed to the role of Business Development Manager and relocated to the office in Wales, where she looked after the UK market. In 1999 Julie came back to Lisburn and continued to work as a BDM, focused on building sales in NI & ROI, before assuming the role of Branch Manager. Julie is responsible for the day to day running and sales activities for the Lisburn office. Julie enjoys travelling, with NYC being her favourite destination that she has visited so far! She also enjoys shopping & socialising with family and friends.
Paddy Joined Distag QCS in 2016 as Business Development Manager for the new Hydraulic Steel Pipe Manipulation project. Paddy has over 25 years’ experience in the Crushing & Screening sector, as well as in the Waste & Recycling sectors. Starting his working career as a designer, utilising AutoCAD and SolidWorks, Paddy progressed into management and also ran his own Hydraulic supply business. Paddy is both passionate about and has unparalleled expertise in the “Hydraulic” sector, which is crucial to our steel pipe manipulation project. During his spare time he enjoys walking, photography and motorcycling.
Alison joined Distag QCS in August 2011, bringing with her, years of experience working in sales & customer based management roles. Alison has also recently completed an Open University Foundation Degree in Business Studies. Alison is responsible for the Internal Account Management of our Hydraulics customer base in Northern Ireland and general office duties, working closely with the sales team internally and externally to ensure we meet the needs of our customers. In her spare time, Alison enjoys walking her dogs on her local beach at Murlough Bay, Yoga, cooking and socialising with family and friends.
Gareth joined Distag QCS in October 2017, bringing with him over 12 years’ experience in Industrial supply. Gareth is responsible for the management and development of new and existing accounts in Northern Ireland and is excited at the prospect of making an impact with Distag QCS. In his spare time, Gareth likes to spend time with his family. Gareth is a keen rugby fan and also likes to hit the gym regularly.
Siobhan is another long term employee of the Company, entering her 33rd year of service. She joined in 1985 when the Company was operating as Flexequip Hydraulics. Siobhan is experienced in both purchasing and sales roles and she is responsible for managing our weekly van delivery service. Siobhan works closely with the warehouse team to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the daily workload, ensuring that we meet the delivery requirements of our customers. Siobhan's granddaughter occupies her time at weekends, along with her 2 pug dogs. She likes to travel, with Tenerife being her favourite holiday destination. She also enjoys the occasional flutter at the horseracing, cooking and socialising with friends and family.
Martin joined Distag QCS in May 2018 as a Hydraulic Workshop Operative. Martin is a qualified pipe fitting Engineer and has experience in the crushing and screening industry. Martin’s main responsibilities include steel tube manipulation and managing the workload to ensure all work is done to a high standard. In Martins free time he loves spending time with his wife and son, as well as watching movies.
Joining our Dungannon Office in July 2018 as a Stores Manager, Chris has a wealth of Industry experience from Mechanical Hydraulic Fitting to Warehouse management. His responsibilities include picking and processing customer orders received in our Dungannon warehouse, as well as a variety of ad hoc daily duties. When he isn’t in the warehouse managing customer orders and inquires, Chris can be found on the track, racing stock-cars.
