An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Engineer, to join the fast growing team at our Ipswich Head Office.
This position would ideally suit a recent engineering graduate, ideally with some experience in working within a similar role for 2-3 years. A degree combing engineering and business would also be a great benefit to this role.
The successful applicant will be willing to work in a customer facing environment, and have the necessary acumen and personality to build strong relationships with our customer base, both from the office and in the field. The ability to grow into a selling role, and the desire to grow in a dynamic sales environment, are also prerequisites. They will also need to have sound IT skills with the capability to use our CRM system effectively, be an excellent communicator, a strong team player, and able to use initiative working in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
The candidate’s engineering skills will be utilised in providing technical advice to our customers, supporting our field sales team, and addressing application and quality control issues. They will also need to liaise with our factories and partners in Asia. It is envisaged that they will provide engineering support to the Customer Services team, and assist them with all aspects of the internal sales operation.

Skills & Experience:
We are seeking a dynamic, committed and ambitious candidate to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be based at our state of the art new facility in Dungannon, Northern Ireland.
We are looking for an individual to be the ‘go to’ person, to support our BDMs and internal sales people in the sale of our range of Hose, Fittings, Assemblies, Manipulated Steel Tube, Hose Assembly Machinery and Accessories.
It is envisaged that a high proportion of the work will be looking after our portfolio of OEM clients, and helping to develop new opportunities; but the role will also encompass supporting our growing network of distributors.
The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working face-to-face with customers as well as over the telephone and email. Experience of hydraulic hose assembly will be required, preferably in a high-volume production environment, and a sound understanding of kitting for machine-builders would also be beneficial.
The role will involve growing the business with our existing customers and prospecting for new business, the successful candidate will also be required to advise on applications, technical issues, and any ‘trouble-shooting’ requirements.
Good knowledge of hydraulic systems in the wider sense would be a great asset e.g. hydraulic cylinders, pumps and valves.
