Technical Sales Engineer - Northern Ireland

We are currently seeking a hard-working, committed individual to join our organisation in Northern Ireland.  This position would ideally suit a recently graduated engineering student.

The successful applicant will be willing to work in a customer facing environment, and have the necessary acumen and personality to build strong relationships with our customer base, both from the office and in the field. They will need to have sound IT skills, be an excellent communicator, a strong team player, and able to use initiative working in an ever-evolving environment.

Job Description:

  • Reporting to: Technical Manager & Managing Director
  • Develop innovative solutions to suit customer needs and requirements 
  • Liaise between suppliers and customers
  • Generating 2D drawings for sales and customer use
  • Providing technical information to sales team and customers across Ireland & UK

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in Solidworks 2016
    • Large assemblies
    • 2D drafting
    • Proper file management
  • Understanding of engineering & manufacturing principles & processes
  • Good communication, ability to engage with customers, sales team & suppliers
  • MS Office suite mainly Excel & Outlook

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar 
    • Level 8
    • Candidates with 2:1 preferred
  • Proficiency in Solidworks 2016
  • Keen interest in mechanical design 
  • Hands on approach 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Interest in agricultural engineering would be advantageous

Warehouse Assistant - Part Time - Ipswich

We have a new opportunity available for a Warehouse Assistant to join our fast-growing warehouse team.

We are approaching our busiest season and we are looking for candidate to assist with picking and packing the daily orders in the afternoon, which is the busiest time of the day!  

In more detail the main tasks will include:

  • To pick and pack daily orders, ensuring that accuracy and presentation are of the highest quality.
  • To replenish the picking shelves.
  • Carry out stock checks, when required
  • General house-keeping
  • Unloading and loading of containers
  • Loading and unloading of lorries
  • Sleeve cutting on our belt cutting machine
  • Any other duties as necessary

It would be preferable for the successful applicant to hold a forklift license and any engineering related experience would be very beneficial to the role.

Happy as a team player, or working on their own initiative with sound communication skills and attention to detail.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm

Fixed Term Contract - 4 months, with a possibility of extension. 

Salary will be negotiable depending on experience.

This position would ideally suit a recently graduated Marketing student or someone with 1-2 years experience with related qualifications.
