Technical Sales Engineer - Northern Ireland

We are currently seeking a hard-working, committed individual to join our organisation in Northern Ireland.  This position would ideally suit a recently graduated engineering student.

The successful applicant will be willing to work in a customer facing environment, and have the necessary acumen and personality to build strong relationships with our customer base, both from the office and in the field. They will need to have sound IT skills, be an excellent communicator, a strong team player, and able to use initiative working in an ever-evolving environment.

The candidate’s engineering skills will be utilised in providing technical advice to our customer base, supporting our field sales team, and addressing application and quality control issues.  It is envisaged that they will provide engineering support to the Customer Services team, and assist with on-site customer visits.

This is a genuine “ground floor” opportunity for the right candidate, and would suit an ambitious, enthusiastic individual, who is looking for an opening to build a career as an Engineer within the UK Mechanical & Fluid Power Transmission market.

Experience with AutoCAD/Solidworks would be advantageous.

Hose Assembly Production Operative - Northern Ireland

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hydraulic Hose Assembler, to join the fast growing Hydraulics team at our Dungannon branch; working for one of the largest and most diverse Industrial Component distributor/manufacturers in the UK & Ireland.

An important part of our offering is supplying the UK & Irish Market with Hydraulic Components, including Hydraulic Hose, Fittings, Assembly Machinery and all related accessories, we also offer a hose assembly & OEM kitting service, from our branches in Ipswich, Lisburn & Dungannon.

As a result of continued expansion, we are now in a position to recruit a Hydraulic Hose Assembler to work in our state of the art hose assembly facility. Under the supervision of the Hydraulic Assembly Manager, the successful candidate will assist in managing the production and assembly of all hose assembly orders placed, ensuring we meet customer deadlines and schedules.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in hydraulic hose assembly or other similar production line based roles.

In busy periods, the successful candidate may be required to assist the Warehouse Manager & Assistants with the distribution orders, but focusing mainly on hydraulics and in the receiving in of new stock when containers and deliveries arrive.

Junior Business Development Manager – Distribution/UK Aftermarket

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hardworking, committed and ambitious individual to join the fast growing Business Development team.

The successful candidate will support our existing customers and develop new business, working closely with the Internal Sales Team and our UK Aftermarket Sales Manager.

They will have sound sales experience, preferably within the hydraulic hose and fittings industry; or alternatively within the mechanical power transmission sector. A formal engineering qualification, would also be beneficial, but not essential. The position might suit a candidate who has worked successfully in an office-based, or service focused, sales position, and is looking to progress.

The successful applicant will be comfortable working in a customer facing environment, and have the necessary acumen and personality to build strong relationships with our customer base, both from the office and in the field. The ability to grow in a selling role, and the desire to grow in a dynamic sales environment, are also prerequisites. They will also need to have sound IT skills with the ability to use our CRM system effectively, be an excellent communicator, a strong team player, and able to use their initiative, working in a highly entrepreneurial environment. 

The chosen candidate must also be prepared to travel, on occasions, anywhere in the UK mainland, and will need to stay over some nights when their schedule requires.

Sales Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Engineer, to join the fast growing team at our Ipswich Head Office; working for one of the largest and most diverse Industrial Component distributor/manufacturers in the UK and Ireland.

This position would ideally suit a recent engineering graduate, or a candidate with 1-3 years experience, engineering combined with business would also be a great benefit to this role.

The successful applicant will be willing to work in a customer facing environment, and have the necessary acumen and personality to build strong relationships with our customer base, both from the office and in the field. The ability to grow into a selling role, and the desire to grow in a dynamic sales environment, are also prerequisites. They will also need to have sound IT skills with the capability to use our CRM system effectively, be an excellent communicator, a strong team player, and able to use initiative working in a highly entrepreneurial environment. 

The candidate’s engineering skills will be utilised in providing technical advice to our customers, supporting our field sales team, and addressing application and quality control issues. They will also need to liaise with our factories and partners in Asia. It is envisaged that they will provide engineering support to the Customer Services team, and assist them with all aspects of the internal sales operation.
